The Realms Thereunder follows Daniel Tully and Freya Reynolds, who at thirteen stumbled into Nidergeard, a hidden world beneath Oxford filled with sleeping knights and ancient evils. Eight years later, now in their twenties, their lives have been irrevocably shaped by that encounter. Daniel operates as a homeless vigilante fighting monsters that bleed into the modern world, while Freya, an Oxford student steeped in folklore, struggles to bury the trauma of her childhood.
